Peter van Rosmalen visiting Shanghai Open University

From 2 to 13 November 2015, Peter van Rosmalen of the Welten Institute will visit the Open University of Shanghai. His visit takes places in the context of the Shanghai Open University International Staff Exchange Fellowship Program. The purpose of this program is to promote cooperation between open universities and the quality of education and research in the field of open and distance learning by academic staff exchange.

A total of 10 researchers are selected on the basis of an individual proposal. In line with the SOONER project Peter will research the practice, experiences and plans at the Shanghai Open University with regard to Scalable Support Activities for Open Online Education. In addition, he will participate in a panel at an international seminar on Quality Assurance in Open & Distance Education.
